Find legal help from your AI conversation
Describe the work you need, explore public professional profiles, and continue with your reviewed brief on Lawtrades. This public connector is free and does not require a Lawtrades account.
Connect in Claude
- Open Claude's Customize → Connectors and add a custom connector. Your organization's administrator may control whether custom connectors are available.
- Name it Lawtrades and enter this public server URL:
https://lawtrades-mcp-public-754045372900.us-central1.run.app/mcp - Choose No sign-in. No API key or Lawtrades login is needed.
- Start a new chat and ask Lawtrades for help. Claude may ask permission before using a tool; check the request before allowing it.
This is the public discovery connector. The separate connector at mcp.lawtrades.com has a different scope and may require authentication.
Start with what you need
Turn requirements into a brief
“Use Lawtrades to help scope a vendor agreement review for my software company. I need it completed by October 1 with a $1,500 total budget.”
Review the outcome, suggested deliverables, budget, timing and unanswered questions. Correct any assumptions. Your location does not establish the contract's governing law.
Explore public profiles
“Find a few attorneys with commercial contracts and SaaS experience in California.”
Results are limited previews with abbreviated names and public profile links. Ask about a specific skill, practice area or location to refine the search. Full profile pages may require sign-in and an existing relationship.
See the small-business bench
“What does the Lawtrades small-business lawyer bench look like, and what hourly rates are listed?”
The curated bench is an unfiltered overview. Listed hourly rates are informational, not project quotes or guaranteed total prices.
Continue without repeating your brief
- Ask to continue on Lawtrades with your draft and any selected profiles (up to three).
- Choose Read the full draft if shown, then read the exact approval preview. Return to the conversation to request changes or explicitly approve that draft.
- Open the private continuation link within ten minutes. Anyone with the link can claim it while it is valid, so keep it private.
- On ai.lawtrades.com, choose to import the draft. Your approved requirements and selected profile references carry over; you can build on them there.
Lawtrades processes the details provided to its tools to produce the results and preview. Approval creates a continuation link for the frozen draft. Your full conversation and files are not part of this transfer. Do not include confidential documents, credentials, private contact details or health information.
What happens next is your choice
Using the connector or importing a draft does not publish a project, contact or hire a professional, book a consultation, request a quote or process payment. Lawtrades account creation is free; paid project engagements are arranged separately on Lawtrades.
This connector provides project scoping and professional discovery, not legal advice. Professional availability and jurisdiction coverage vary. Profile location is not bar-admission verification, and a profile preview does not confirm suitability, current availability or conflicts clearance.
If something goes wrong
- The preview is missing: do not approve unseen content. Ask to see the exact draft in the conversation before continuing.
- The draft needs a change: describe the change and review a new preview before approving.
- The link expired or cannot be claimed: return to your AI conversation and request a new reviewed continuation link. Do not repeatedly reuse an expired link.
- Your AI cannot open the link: use the private link shown in the conversation, or contact support if no link is available.
- No profiles match: adjust one search requirement, such as location or specialty. Results never guarantee licensing or availability.
- The connector is unavailable: check your AI provider's connector access and organization settings, then contact support.
